WWE News: Boxing Champion Tyson Fury Will Be on Raw to Address Braun Strowman

TJR Wrestling

It was announced tonight after Smackdown that professional boxer Tyson Fury will be on Raw on Monday in Bakersfield, California.

During Smackdown tonight, Fury got into a bit of an altercation with Braun Strowman when Fury was sitting at ringside. They had a friendly interaction where they showed fists to eachother. Strowman was in an 8-man tag team match and during that match, he tossed Dolph Ziggler into the barricade right into Fury, which knocked Fury back into his seat. Strowman beat Ziggler shortly after. When the match was over, Fury jumped the railing and security had to keep him from going into the ring after Strowman.

Here’s what WWE announced on their website tonight.

WWE is offering Tyson Fury an open microphone… so, what could possibly go wrong?

After hopping the guardrail this past Friday Night on SmackDown in an attempt to confront Braun Strowman, the always controversial Fury will now be offered an open forum this Monday night on Raw to speak his mind following the explosive incident that saw a small army of security struggle to keep him from getting into the ring to mix it up with The Monster Among Men.

Tune in this Monday night at 8/7 C on USA Network to see if Fury accepts!

It’s possible this will lead to a match at WrestleMania or maybe it will be as soon as the upcoming Saudi Arabian Crown Jewel show on October 31 since it would be an “attraction match” most likely because I don’t think Fury has experience as a wrestler.

Fury’s record as a professional boxer is 29 wins, 0 losses and 1 draw. That’s very impressive.

Fury posted photos from backstage with his son and meeting several WWE superstars as well including WWE’s Chairman Vince McMahon.

Anyway, all of this should lead to Strowman vs. Fury in some form or fashion in the near future.
