Tiffany Stratton believes that Naomi’s recent WWE Women’s Championship opportunity was undeserved.

Naomi made a sensational return to the company at the 2024 Royal Rumble, entering the gruelling match in the number 2 position and spending an impressive 62 minutes and 18 seconds in the bout before being dumped out by the debuting Jade Cargill.

The Orlando-born Superstar made her return after a near 20-month absence having famously walked out alongside tag team partner Sasha Banks having grown frustrated with the pairs creative direction in the company.

The 36 year-old enjoyed a fruitful spell away from WWE in the ensuing months, reinventing herself as Trinity in TNA before going on to capture the TNA Knockouts World Championship from Deonna Purrazzo at Slammiversary on 15th July 2023.

Naomi crowned a successful return to WWE by defeating Tiffany Stratton on the 12th April edition of SmackDown to become the first contender for Bayley’s newly acquired WWE Women’s Championship. The 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble winner defeated former Damage CTRL team mate Iyo Sky at WrestleMania XL to lift the gold.

Tiffany Stratton Believes Naomi Is Undeserving Of Title Shot

Naomi’s Championship opportunity came on the 19th April edition of SmackDown but was subsequently ruined after the villainous Tiffany Stratton interfered and attacked both competitors.

Stratton went on to explain her actions during an appearance on The SmackDown Low Down, claiming that Naomi was undeserving of the title match in the first place:

“I have my sights set on the WWE Women’s Championship. Last week when Naomi beat me, it was a fluke. She didn’t deserve to be in that match, and that’s why I did what I did. I just had a Tiffany epiphany.

Who better than the center of the universe to win the WWE Women’s Championship? I just love the sound of that. Toodles.”
