A multi-time champion believes he has almost no chance of returning to WWE.

Stevie Richards signed with the Stamford-based company in 1999. He had a nine-year run, during which he held the Hardcore Championship 21 times.

The 54-year-old veteran spent his last two years in WWE competing on the ECW brand before he was released from his contract in mid-2008. Following his departure, Richards wrestled on the independent circuit. He also had brief runs in TNA and ROH. A few years ago, the former Hardcore Champion retired from in-ring competition due to health issues.

During a recent episode of The Stevie Richards Show, the wrestling veteran jokingly addressed his chances of returning to WWE when asked whether he would be open to commenting on the Vince McMahon-Janel Grant and WWE shareholder lawsuits. He claimed he had a 0.001 chance of making a comeback and was willing to reduce it to a full zero.

I was gonna say I’m never going back to the company, so of course we can talk about it. There’s like a 0.001% chance I might have a chance of returning to WWE. Let’s make that zeros across the board today. [1:10 onwards]

Stevie Richards Has Real-Life Heat With WWE CCO Triple H

The 21-time Hardcore Champion has been vocal about his relationship with Triple H during his time in WWE. He admitted on several occasions that they did not get along.

During a previous episode of The Stevie Richards Show, the wrestling veteran even accused The Game of burying him in production meetings behind his back.

Hunter probably did that with a lot of people, maybe even myself. I remember when I was told we want talent sitting in production meetings, and Hunter would never open his mouth when Dreamer and I were sitting all the way in the back, and then we would leave, and somebody would say, you know why, like after you left, he was burying you.

I said, well, what can I do? You know what I mean, I wanna learn. I don’t wanna go up to the guy and say, dude, you’re trapped. You can’t go up to him and say, well, Hunter, if you think I need improvement, please tell me where it is. I never said it. I think you’re great, man. Walk away. Then you’re doubly buried, very much a mine field.
