A former WWE manager has backed TKO’s decision to increase WWE ticket prices.

The World Wrestling Entertainment and Ultimate Fighting Championship merged in September 2023 to form the TKO Group Holdings.

Since then, multiple reports have surfaced claiming that the price of tickets has nearly doubled, making it increasingly difficult for fans to attend the live tapings and PLEs.

Elsewhere, TKO’s Chief Operating Officer, Mark Shapiro, laid the blame on Vince McMahon for pricing tickets for families, instead of maximizing the money-making opportunity.

Subsequently, WWE received heavy criticism from fans and other critics, in general, who called out the promotion for becoming greedy with ticket prices.

More recently, the company’s president, Nick Khan, was approached by a wrestling fan during a visit to the Wyatt Sicks House attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood.

The fan complained about the steep ticket prices; in turn, Khan simply joked and did not provide a definite answer.

Meanwhile, Eric Bischoff did not express shock at the rising WWE ticket prices but instead backed the decision.

Eric Bischoff Speaks About WWE Increasing Ticket Prices

One of the topics that Eric Bischoff discussed on one of his recent 83 Weeks podcasts was the increasing ticket prices of WWE shows.

The ex-manager justified the decision by claiming that the price would keep going up until the higher-ups find a threshold.

I mean, does it make sense?… You have a product, it’s a widget, and you sell that widget, people go, ‘Well, I really like that widget.’ So you raise the price a little more… and you keep increasing that price until you find your threshold,” Bischoff said. “And then once you find your threshold, you then begin to adjust your prices accordingly… I’m not shocked, but it’s interesting to me that people are surprised that any company will continue to increase the price of the product until they find that threshold.
