Seth Rollins To 6-Time WWE Champion: “It’s Just Not Your Time”
Seth Rollins has a message ahead of his huge match at WWE Night of Champions.
The rivalry between the former WWE World Champion Seth Rollins and his former ally Bron Breakker will lead the two men to clash in a very personal Steel Cage Match at the Night of Champions PLE on June 28th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
It’s a big “prove it” kind of match for both guys since it’s their third high-profile match against eachother since Bron Breakker got the win at Backlash in an excellent match, and then Seth Rollins got his win back in a terrific Raw main event on June 1st.
For the 40-year-old Rollins, it’s a chance to prove he’s still a top guy in WWE, while the 28-year-old Breakker will get a chance to show he’s worthy of all the hype of being a future WrestleMania main eventer, just like Rollins is.
While speaking to ESPN, Rollins had a message for The Vision’s Bron Breakker, whom Rollins likes to refer to as “kid” since there is an age gap between them.
“Listen to me, kid, your time is going to come. It really is. And I understand you’ve had a lot of smoke blown your way by Paul Heyman, and I understand what that feels like. I understand that you want the world, and I promise you that you’re going to get it…now is just not your time, dude. It’s just not your time.
It’s certainly not going to come at my expense. I’m closer to the end than the beginning, but I’ve got a lot more gas left in the tank before it’s time for me to hang it up.”
Seth Rollins Feels It’s Easier To Be A Heel Compared To A Face
Throughout his WWE career, Seth Rollins has had several runs as a babyface, like he is now, but he has perhaps had his greatest success as a heel.
While talking about being a pro wrestling heel, Seth Rollins spoke about how it’s difficult for some talent to embrace being a bad guy (or girl), while also making the point that a wrestler can do no wrong as a bad guy.
It’s hard for them to then become that character when it’s time. You have to take an honest look at who you are. Understand that we’ve all got good and bad inside of us, and you have to be unafraid to find those rotten parts of you and figure out how to manifest them into a character live on screen.
It’s much easier in 2025 to be a bad guy than it is to be a good guy… everybody wants to hate everything. No one wants to get online and talk about how much they love something… they just want to get online and [complain] about anything they can find. So it’s so easy to troll people, to mess with people.
You can do no wrong as a bad guy. You can mess up your promos. You can screw up in the ring. Doesn’t matter. They’ll boo you for it—and then you’re gold.
The WWE Night of Champions PLE takes place on Saturday, June 27th, with this lineup.
