BREAKING: WWE Crowns New Champions At Saturday Night’s Main Event

WWE had a huge night planned for the 45th edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event as the show aired live from the promotion’s forever home, Madison Square Garden.

With all the attention at MSG, WWE filled the night with some exciting matches, kicking the night off with the only title match of the night.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Brie Bella and Paige, defended their titles against Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley of The Fatal Influence.

The group have been targeting the tag team champions ever since they made their debut on the main roster, and finally got a chance to face them tonight.

The challengers got ahead in the match as they isolated Paige from her tag team partners after the champions had started on the front foot.

Paige was left struggling in the ring as Brie Bella was occupied with Fallon Henley on the outside. Henley hurt herself in the process, causing her to bleed from her mouth.

However, this didn’t stop her from taking Paige out as she fought with Lainey in the ring. As Jacy Jayne distracted the referee, chaos unfurled as Brie took Fallon out with a flying clothesline.

Paige then caught Lainey in a roll-up and almost got the win before Jacy pushed her down, turning the momentum for Reid. She then pinned Paige to become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
