Tony Khan has opened up about the possibility of buying TNA Wrestling.

Tony Khan launched AEW in 2019. Over the years, the company has grown leaps and bounds. Currently, AEW boasts some of the best wrestlers from around the world.

Within a few years of launching AEW, Tony Khan made the bold move of buying Ring of Honor. He relaunched the company. Over the years, several AEW stars have competed in ROH and vice versa. ROH has been doing quite well under Tony’s leadership. Therefore, with recent reports of a potential TNA sale, Tony Khan’s name is on everybody’s minds as a potential buyer.

During the media call for AEW Forbidden Door, Tony Khan was asked if he would be interested in purchasing TNA Wrestling if Anthem were selling the company. The AEW boss wanted to know the price he would have to pay for it. When a hypothetical price of $40 million was mentioned, Tony said that he has no interest since it would come down to the right price. He also confirmed that acquiring TNA is not on the cards for AEW at the moment.

Tony Khan opened up about Jack Perry’s AEW future

During the same media call, Tony Khan was asked about reports that Jack Perry had not re-signed with AEW. Tony said that he wants Jack to be a part of his company for a very long time.

“The plan for AEW and Jack is for Jack to be here for a long time. I have believed that Jack is a great wrestler for many years and I continue to feel that way. I like Jack very much. He has a very bright future in wrestling and a great mind for wrestling. It’s been really gratifying for me and fans to see the return of Jungle Jack Perry and seeing fans embrace Jack and the great matches he’s been having. The plan is for Jack Perry to be in AEW for a long time, so that’s going to happen,” he said. [H/T Ringside News]
