WWE Make Another Big Change To WrestleMania 40

WrestleMania 40 is coming to Philadelphia and for fans heading to the show and watching around the world, WWE has an even earlier start planned.

WrestleMania 40 is set to take place on April 6th and 7th at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, and with the Royal Rumble now very much in the rearview, WWE is on an even bumpier road to WrestleMania than usual.

The event moved to a two-day affair in 2020 due to the pandemic but with shows in the years before stretching to six or seven hours, the two-day format has remained in place.

Start times for WrestleMania have largely fallen in line with other WWE pay-per-views but WrestleVotes reported that the company was bringing things forward in 2024 with WrestleMania starting at 7 pm EST. But now it seems the show will start even earlier.

WWE Brings WrestleMania Start Time Forward Again

Ticket holders have been told that the show will now be starting at 6:30 pm EST with the doors opening at the stadium at 4:30 pm EST. This means better news for fans in the UK who might have expected the shows to start at 1 am GMT but they will now kick off at 11:30 pm GMT each night.

What fans will see when they get to WrestleMania remains to be seen with Bayley facing IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s Championship the only match currently confirmed for the show.

The saga around the main event scene involving Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and The Rock might well be resolved when WWE holds a massive press conference in Las Vegas on February 8th.
