WWE Legend Rikishi Threatens CM Punk Over Bloodline Disrespect
CM Punk crossed a boundary with Roman Reigns on WWE RAW, and everyone agrees on that.
On the Road to WrestleMania, The Best in the World and The OTC kicked off the build-up to their championship match on March 2nd, 2026.
In that segment, Punk promised to bury Roman Reigns beside his late father and WWE Hall of Famer, Sika Anoa’i. This comment was not taken kindly by the industry, especially the family members.
Jey Uso demanded an apology, Zilla Fatu claimed he lost all respect for CM Punk, and now, Rikishi has spoken as well.
WWE Legend Rikishi has a warning for CM Punk
On Rikishi Fatu’s Off The Top podcast, the real-life Bloodline member was asked about the segment. He expressed his disgust over the World Heavyweight Champion bringing up Sika Anoa’i’s name, especially after Punk was considered a good role model.
He left Punk with the warning that if CM Punk has done something this grave, it won’t be easy to come back from it.
You know, I felt that by CM Punk bringing up my uncle’s name was just a disrespectful thing for him to do. I would have thought CM Punk, that you’re smart enough to even tap on something like that. If you tried to get up underneath our skin, if you tried to get up underneath the family skin, but you got up underneath this one, man, because I had nothing but respect for CM Punk. You’ve done a lot in the industry. You’ve been around the world. You’ve been holding that strap there for a minute. You’ve been that good role model.
But when you mention a name of a family member that is no longer here, a paramount chief in this family who we all respect and love, and then you want to, you want to dig that up. What was it for you to get some heat? Is that what it was? Think you smarter than that. But I want to tell you something, CM Punk. If you done turned something over, that is going to be hard for you to come back from, and I’m going to leave that in the hands of Roman Reigns.
The latest segment between them was supposed to mention Punk’s late dog, Larry, but WWE pivoted from it at the last minute.
