WWE Legend Makes Surprise RAW Return To Destroy AJ Lee

WWE RAW was set for a major match tonight, as it was home to AJ Lee’s first RAW match in over a decade. She defended her Women’s Intercontinental Championship for the first time tonight.

After vowing to be a fighting champion, AJ Lee found out her first challenger last week after Bayley became the number one contender. She had an entertaining match with the former hugger as she defended the title.

AJ was celebrating her first title defense with the rest of the RAW crowd as she picked up her first win on the brand in over 4000 days, the last of which came way back in 2015.

However, the night turned sour for the champion soon enough as she was attacked from behind by WWE legend, Becky Lynch. AJ and Becky have been at each other’s throats since Lee returned to the promotion.

She attacked AJ throughout the stage and ramp, bouncing her off the titantron, the ramp and the barricade, before being separated by the rest of WWE officials.

AJ was brought back to her feet by them, but Becky rushed and smashed the IC title to her head, before posing with the belt, indicating that things aren’t yet over between them.
