WWE Announces Holiday Tour Dates Including New Year’s Day Raw

As the year 2023 winds down, WWE has announced its holiday tour dates as well as the location of the first episode of Raw in 2024.

The end of September is upon us meaning we are about three months away from the end of 2023. For WWE, the end of the year means running live events in major markets because a lot of family members will gift their loved ones with WWE tickets for Christmas or other holidays celebrated in December.

In a press release on WWE’s Corporate website, the company announced their Holiday Tour schedule. These dates start on December 26th (the day after Christmas) and run all week long leading to the first Raw episode of 2024.

WWE ANNOUNCES 2023 HOLIDAY TOUR DATES

STAMFORD, Conn., September 22, 2023 – WWE, part of TKO Group Holdings (NYSE: TKO), today announced an additional 12 live events as part of the 2023 Holiday Tour. Tickets go on sale next Friday, September 29.

  • Tuesday, December 26: WWE Holiday Tour at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
  • Tuesday, December 26: WWE Holiday Tour at CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, MD.
  • Wednesday, December 27: WWE Holiday Tour at TD Garden in Boston, MA.
  • Wednesday, December 27: WWE Holiday Tour at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, MI.
  • Thursday, December 28: WWE Holiday Tour at Place Bell in Montreal, Quebec.
  • Thursday, December 28: WWE Holiday Tour at Toyota Center in Houston, TX.
  • Friday, December 29: WWE Holiday Tour at Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto, Ontario.
  • Friday, December 29: WWE Holiday Tour at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
  • Saturday, December 30: WWE Holiday Tour SuperShow at Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA.
  • Monday, January 1: Monday Night RAW at Pechanga Arena in San Diego, CA.

What that means is WWE superstars will have to wrestle on the New Year’s Day holiday on January 1st. For some of them, they will be wrestling at five straight days of events while New Year’s Eve on December 31 is a day off.

Christmas Day is also on a Monday. On October 18th, Raw will be in Des Moines, Iowa. the company could tape Raw for Christmas Day one week earlier, but last year there was a “Best Of” show on the December 26th episode of Raw. It’s certainly possible that WWE goes that route again this year.
