WWE Planning Huge Twist For Drew McIntyre And Jacob Fatu’s Future

Drew McIntyre is embroiled in a feud with Jacob Fatu leading into WrestleMania 42.

Drew McIntyre won his 4th WWE World Championship in January when he defeated Cody Rhodes in a Three Stages of Hell match.

Jacob Fatu also made his return that night and interfered in the final Stage of Hell, which was a cage match to initially attack McIntyre, but The Scottish Psychopath exited the cage to become the new champion as soon as Fatu engaged with Rhodes.

Just when it seemed like McIntyre would go into WrestleMania 42 as champion, his attempts at keeping Cody Rhodes from getting a rematch at the title eventually cost him when General Manager Nick Aldis awarded Rhodes with an opportunity to win back the gold, announcing a title match for SmackDown after the Elimination Chamber PLE had gone off air.

During that title match, Jacob Fatu interfered once again and foiled McIntyre’s attempts at using a steel chair on Rhodes, and this time, the distraction cost McIntyre his title.

With Rhodes now going into WrestleMania 42 as champion to face challenger, Elimination Chamber winner Randy Orton, McIntyre has been left to feud with Fatu, and the two have had destructive brawls on SmackDown over the past couple of weeks.

Ibou Of Self-Made Reports That Drew McIntyre vs Jacob Fatu At WWE WrestleMania 42 Could Be A Major Gimmick Match.

Ibou posted on X saying that sources close to WWE indicate that the WrestleMania 42 match between Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu could be a Hell in a Cell match.

Fans of The Scottish Psychopath would still be disappointed, as they were certain that he would get his comeuppance this year at the Showcase of the Immortals by going into it as the top dog.
