Surprising Star Tipped To Win 1st World Title In WWE Before Bron Breakker & Oba Femi
This superstar will win the WWE Championship before two of his peers, says WWE analyst.
Celebrities entering the world of wrestling and having a go at it is no rarity.
But in Logan Paul’s case, it’s a story in which someone who was a full-blown celebrity transitioned to being a serious full-time wrestler.
Paul has been in WWE since 2021 and has made a huge impact with his presence. His mic skills are right up there with some of the best to ever do it, and his in-ring abilities match his charisma and good character work.
He is currently part of the heel faction, The Vision, and has had to carry it on his shoulders in the absence of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, both of whom are injured.
Paul got a chance at the WWE Championship when he qualified for the Elimination Chamber match in February, but his chances were thwarted by a returning Seth Rollins. Paul is currently feuding with The Usos alongside factionmate Austin Theory for tag team gold.
He has also started a long-running celebrity feud with NFL star Tom Brady in WWE’s defense after Brady made some harsh statements about the company and wrestling as a whole.
WWE Analyst Sam Roberts Believes Logan Paul Could Win The World Heavyweight Championship
Roberts was a guest on Chris Van Vliet’s Insight podcast, and when Van Vliet asked him who he thinks should be champion first among Oba Femi, Bron Breakker, and Logan Paul, Roberts went with The Maverick.
He explained that Paul is a unique specimen as he is the first celebrity to become a proper full-time wrestler and has the skills to show for it. Van Vliet agreed, and the pair also noted that he could win the top prize sooner rather than later despite many fans not wanting the belt around Paul’s waist.
If it’s me, I’ve been on the record. Logan Paul. I think Logan Paul going after the title should happen this year.
The fact that he can sell the pay-per-views that he sold with Floyd Mayweather, like this, it’s just a different beast. The idea that a celebrity wrestler has become a full-time wrestler.
He’s the one guy. Every celebrity comes in and goes, “I think I got bit by the bug.” And Logan Paul’s the only one like “No, no, no, I’m a wrestler now. I’m gonna be on TV every week. I’m gonna be in this faction. I’m gonna fight for the tag team titles.”
He’s on the show every single week. He’s on every pay-per-view. I think they have something there. (1:12:25 onwards)
