WWE: Does Shane McMahon Hate Triple H? Relationship Allegedly Revealed

Shane McMahon and Triple H do not have a great relationship, alleges this former WWE name.

Shane McMahon, son of former WWE chairman Vince McMahon, was a big part of WWE programming in the 2000s. Shane was known for his extreme levels of risk-taking and memorable spots.

As with any family-run business, he was expected to take over the company after his father, but Vince handed that task down to his son-in-law, Triple H, instead.

As evidenced by the Mr. McMahon documentary on Netflix, Shane and Vince had a difficult relationship bordering on the extreme, with Vince refusing to consider or implement Shane’s ideas; something that eventually led Shane to leave the company to save their personal relationship.

Triple H, meanwhile, was handed creative duties in 2022 and is the current CCO of WWE. This, combined with The Game marrying Shane’s sister Stephanie, could be the reason behind Shane’s certain hate for Triple H, alleges former WWE name Johnathan Coachman.

With this complicated web of relationships and heartbreak, it’s only understandable why Shane McMahon might have heat with The King of Kings. Shane, who is usually considered the level-headed “normal” McMahon, had to leave the company before it got any more toxic for him.

Although he has worked with Triple H multiple times in storylines in his career and even returned for his final match under Triple H’s regime, Coachman said on Coach & Bro that Shane’s hate for Triple H is real.

Does he (Shane) have heat with Triple H? Hell, yeah. He does. Hell yes, he hates Triple H. He (Hunter) was dating and married his sister (Stephanie) and then took his spot.

Shane McMahon’s final bout at WrestleMania 39 was an incomplete one against the Miz, during which the former injured himself.
