WWE’s Danhausen Appears Out Of Character With Career Advice
The “very evil” Danhausen gave some “very nice” advice to some wrestlers recently.
Danhausen’s WWE debut took place at February’s Elimination Chamber PLE after he arrived in a crate. For the previous three years, he was under contract with AEW, but he was barely used while he worked there.
Since joining WWE, Danhausen has become one of the most popular superstars in the company and has become a top merchandise seller as well. Fans like his face paint, his unique verbiage, and the way he acts around others because he’s clearly a funny guy.
As a WWE superstar, Danhausen is also 3-0 in televised matches, with his most recent win coming at Backlash when he teamed up with Minihausen to beat The Miz and Kit Wilson.
Regarding his future, there has been some speculation that Danhausen is working on his cloning machine to create “a clone” that could be a returning Baron Corbin. Since Corbin is much bigger than Minihausen, it would be a way to show that the Hausen One’s cloning machine can work in making someone bigger.
Danhause Knows Being Athletic Is Not Everything In Pro Wrestling
It’s important to remember that the “very evil” one is just a character, and he knows that being that character is what has led to his success in WWE. Appearing in fellow WWE superstar Bayley’s latest Lodestone Vlog, Danhausen appeared without face paint to address women’s wrestlers at Bayley’s camp.
“The athletic part is important but it’s not everything, which is good because not all of us are super athletic, I’m not, but I made that a strength, and you guys can do that too as long as you focus on what you do well. I think William Regal said that, I just hide all the s**t that I’m bad at and focus on the things I’m good at. That seems to work, I’ve used that and it seems to work for me.
If you’re an independent wrestler and doing merch, I try to follow the rule of ‘would I wear this’, and if I wouldn’t wear this, I do not release it because that s**t sucks.
Danhausen wants wrestlers to think about things they like and try to portray that as a character.
That’s kind of the character too; what do you like? What movies do you like? What music do you like? I know B3CCA does the popstar thing, you’ve taken that and made a character out of that, and that’s something people can connect with and stands out, and that’s the best thing is to stand out.
I know (convincing people on your character) is not easy, it’s just kind of deciding if you want to die on that hill. If it is really worth it then yes fight for it and be like ‘this is my s**t, this is our time, 5 to 10 minutes, to show these people who we are and this is who I am, can we think of a way for us to get into this? I think it’s just a way of being respectful and being nice.”
It sounds like good advice from someone who is finding unique ways to succeed in the biggest wrestling company in the world.
