WWE Confirms That Cesaro Will Return To Action Next Month

World Wrestling Entertainment has announced that Cesaro is scheduled to compete on their WrestleMania Revenge tour in Europe next month. WWE’s official Netherlands twitter account posted the following, stating that Cesaro will be in action at the April 15 live event at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.

This announcement presumably means that Cesaro will be competing at some of the other shows on tour.

In November 2015, Cesaro tore his rotator cuff. This injury required surgery and which meant that he would be missing the next four to six months. There was speculation as to whether or not he would be ready in time for WrestleMania 32, but Cesaro recently claimed in interviews that he would not be wrestling at the event.

Mark’s reaction: We are finally approaching that time where some of WWE’s biggest names will be returning from injury. Not having Cesaro on WWE television the past few months have been upsetting, especially since he was delivering match of the nights on Raw week after week up until his injury. I was thinking that there was no way WWE could ignore putting Cesaro in a big match at WrestleMania 32, but that’s when his unfortunate injury occurred.

I’m happy to hear that he’ll be back in action shortly after WrestleMania. WWE didn’t announce that he’ll be on Raw, but it would be safe to assume that he’ll return to Raw around that time since he’s wrestling on tour. WWE could definitely use his star power and athleticism. Hopefully he gets a nice push from the company upon his return. I echo the same sentiments of Ric Flair on one of his recent podcasts, when he said that he’d love to see Cesaro vs. Lesnar at SummerSlam. I would have loved to see it at WrestleMania, but SummerSlam is fine with me! I’m also looking forward to Cesaro vs. Styles in the near future. I can’t wait.
