Huge WWE Champion Only Wrestled 7 Minutes Since Winning Title

This WWE Champion has an unwanted statistic attached to her title reign at the moment.

Jade Cargill is the current WWE Women’s Champion. She won the belt from former Champion Tiffany Stratton last year in November. This decision, aside from WWE giving Cargill a major push, was also due to Stratton’s injury, for which she wanted time off to recover.

Since then, Cargill has not defended her title on WWE TV and has a questionable statistic to her name. She has wrestled for only 7 minutes during her 84-day reign as Champion.

Critics are all over the fact that The Storm has had so little ringtime, and it isn’t confirmed whether she’ll be wrestling this Saturday at the Royal Rumble either.

The only match she has wrestled during her time as Champion was last week on SmackDown against Chelsea Green, a bout that ended in 7 minutes with Cargill dominating Green. The only feud that’s building up for her is her recent one with Jordynne Grace, with whom she has had a face-off for a second consecutive week.

WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill’s Feud With Tiffany Stratton Could Be Re-ignited.

WWE has struggled with booking Cargill’s title reign, and one user on X recently posted about it, calling it some of the most “bizarre” booking for a title reign ever.

This lack of action from the champion is negatively affecting the women’s division on SmackDown, which Women’s United States Champion Giulia appears to be carrying.

As for The Storm, Tiffany Stratton would be willing to cash in her rematch clause once she’s back. And even if she comes back for the Women’s Royal Rumble match and doesn’t win, she still has the clause.

For now, WWE fans can hope that things change sooner rather than later with Jade Cargill’s ring time to put an end to the harrowing statistic, casting a dark cloud over her title reign.
