On Monday, WWE announced the main-roster debut of a former NXT star.

The April 27 episode of Raw emanated from Laredo, Texas. It was the first taping of the red brand following the release of 20+ wrestlers on Friday.

While the majority of the released superstars were from SmackDown, a couple of them were from Raw as well, including Kairi Sane and Zoey Stark.

To compensate for the losses, WWE has moved several names from its developmental brand, NXT.

Last week, Sol Ruca made her main roster debut on Raw when she interrupted Liv Morgan’s segment. It led to a singles match between the two wrestlers, which ended in a victory for Morgan after an interference from Ruca’s former best friend, Zaria.

On the following NXT taping, the 26-year-old competed in her final bout in a Last Woman Standing match against the Australian.

In the closing minutes, the action moved up on a dangerous platform with a couple of tables set up on the floor. Zaria pulled out a ruse by weeping and hugging Ruca before pushing her off the platform onto the tables.

Unfortunately, Ruca crashed through only one table, with the back of her head hitting the side of the second, resulting in her receiving multiple stitches.

After competing in her last NXT match, Sol Ruca took to Instagram to thank fans of the developmental brand who supported her.

During the Monday taping of Raw, WWE confirmed that Ruca will officially sign her main roster contract.

Stephanie Vaquer Ambushed On WWE Raw By The Judgment Day

Stephanie Vaquer unsuccessfully defended her Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 42, dropping the title to Liv Morgan.

The lead-up to the match involved intense promos as well as backstage fights between Vaquer and Morgan.

During their match at the Show of Shows, Morgan got help from her Judgment Day stablemates, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, allowing her to hit Oblivion for the victory, making her a 3-time singles world champion.

Morgan also had a brief interaction with her now-SmackDown counterpart, Rhea Ripley, who was added to the SmackDown roster after her title win against Jade Cargill at WrestleMania.

In case fans assumed that her feud with Vaquer has ended, that does not seem to be the case.

On Monday, Vaquer was shown walking backstage when she was ambushed by the Judgment Day trio of Morgan, Rodriguez, and Perez.

During the show, commentator Michael Cole provided an update on La Primera’s condition, stating that she suffered a second degree ACC sprain of the left shoulder. He also revealed that she is expected to be out of action for some time.
