This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite served as the go-home episode for this coming weekend’s Double or Nothing, and the fans were treated to a special three-hour spectacle.

The night began with a huge trios match, which saw Chris Jericho and The Young Bucks team up to face Ricochet, Andrade, and Mark Davis, ahead of their Stadium Stampede match this weekend.

The second match of the show saw two former friends go to war in a brutal Anything Goes match. Former AEW Champions, Mark Briscoe and Tomasso Ciampa, tore the roof up during their fight.

The match lived up to its name as both men literally did everything possible to settle the score tonight. Ciampa brought out the big guns early on as he used a cheese greater on Briscoe’s head, causing him to bleed profusely and writhe in pain.

Brutal end to Mark Briscoe and Tomasso Ciampa’s AEW rivalry

As Briscoe recovered, Tomasso Ciampa went berserk with Briscoe’s Chicken Plushie that he carries to the ring. He began attacking the plushie with a steel chair before hitting his big move and going for the pin. However, it was broken up by Mark as he pulled the referee out of the ring.

They then continued to have some brutal exchanges involving multiple weapons like the Steel Chair and Trash Can. Mark Briscoe then began stapling barbed wire to a table kept outside before Ciampa stopped him.

He stapled a sheet of paper to his head three times before being repeatedly punched with a screwdriver by Briscoe. The match ultimately ended after Briscoe hit Ciampa with a huge piledriver through the barbed wire-wrapped table before hitting him with a Froggy Elbow drop to get the win on AEW Dynamite.
