When Is Bayley’s WWE Contract Expiring?

Bayley is one of the top stars in WWE.

She debuted in the Stamford promotion in 2012 on the NXT brand, where she gained a loyal fan following. She is a former NXT Women’s Champion.

Her match against Sasha Banks at the 2015 NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn won the Match of the Year award.

During her tenure, she has won the Women’s Championship 4 times, twice on RAW and SmackDown each. She is also a two-time Women’s Tag Team Champion.

The “Role Model” made her main roster debut on WWE RAW in August 2016.

She often feuded with Charlotte Flair, even winning her first singles title against her former NXT peer.

Some of her other notable rivals include Mercedes Mone (fka Sasha Banks) and Becky Lynch. The four superstars are also famously called The Four Horsewomen, an ode to the original Four Horsemen faction.

Bayley has also dealt with a few injuries that have kept her out of action in the past. More recently, her match from WrestleMania 41 was pulled, and a kayfabe storyline of her being attacked was created.

Since returning, the 36-year-old has struggled to land a victory; her last win came in April 2025.

When a wrestler has suffered a string of losses, it is fair for the fans to assume whether their contract with the World Wrestling Entertainment is up anytime soon.

Bayley’s Contract Ends In Late 2026

Bayley got candid during an early appearance on the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast.

There, she discussed her decade-long career with the Stamford-based company, her relationship with the fans, and, of course, her contract.

She stated that her contract ended in late 2026, giving her enough time to create more memories.

Bayley also initially thought she would retire at 35, but is grateful that her career has been prolonged.

Her recent run has been full of struggles; she even failed to get a match booked at the SummerSlam PLE, which was held across two nights for the first time since 1988.

WWE recently ran a vignette featuring Bayley, hinting at a potential heel turn.
