Oba Femi is set to fight for the King of the Ring crown this Saturday at WWE Night of Champions 2026.

The Ruler qualified for the final of the King of the Ring tournament after beating Penta, Solo Sikoa, and Carmelo Hayes in a Fatal 4-Way in the first round and Dominik Mysterio in the semi-finals.

The former NXT Champion is now set to fight The Bloodline’s Jey Uso for the King of the Ring crown and a world championship shot at SummerSlam.

The former World Heavyweight Champion reached the final after winning a Fatal 4-Way match against LA Knight, Royce Keys, and Finn Balor before beating Je’Von Evans in the second round.

Brock Lesnar To Cost Oba Femi The King Of The Ring Crown, Predicts Ex-WWE Writer

Ahead of Night of Champions, former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. shared his predictions for the King of the Ring tournament final. He referenced the ongoing feud between Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar, predicting that The Beast Incarnate would interfere, costing his rival the match.

The Hollywood star speculated that Oba Femi’s SummerSlam plans would involve facing Brock Lesnar rather than the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. Meanwhile, Prinze Jr. suggested Jey Uso would win the King of the Ring final before challenging Sami Zayn at SummerSlam after The Last Real Good Guy dethrones The American Nightmare at Night of Champions.

I feel like Brock Lesnar is gonna interfere in the match. And his [Oba Femi] future at SummerSlam is with Brock, not with Cody Rhodes, and not with a world championship just yet, which makes me think Jey Uso is gonna get this win and it’s gonna be power for The Bloodline. And remember, Jey’s like, ‘Yo, you gotta acknowledge me.’ He wants that. His ego is in this storyline big time. He wants to almost be an equal to Roman, maybe, dare I say.

So, I think he gets a shady win, not a clear victory by any stretch of the imagination because Oba should be winning matches clean unless he’s getting effed because he’s a beast right now. But yeah, I see Jey Uso getting the W in this going on to SummerSlam to face your boy, Sami Zayn. [12:05 onwards]
