Upcoming WWE RAW Episode Gets Different Start Time For Unique Reason
A future episode of WWE Monday Night Raw will start earlier than expected, and not because it’s overseas.
Ever since WWE Monday Night Raw moved to Netflix in January 2025, it has usually aired at 8 p.m. ET, but not always.
There are times when Raw airs earlier in the day because it is broadcast from Europe or Saudi Arabia. Since Netflix is available worldwide, WWE is willing to show Raw live.
Recent examples of Raw starting earlier were on June 1st, when it was in Turin, Italy, and June 8th in Paris, France, for last week’s show.
The June 22nd edition of Raw will also start earlier at 2 p.m. ET because it will be live from London, England. That will be five days before Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on June 27th.
On Monday, June 29th, WWE Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown will take place in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The reason is that WWE wants to give talent and staff the rest of that week off, since the July 4th Independence Day holiday falls on Saturday this year. If the SmackDown crew did a live SmackDown on Friday, they would be flying home on Saturday, so doing two shows in one night would let them be home for the 4th of July.
Since the June 29th edition of Raw will be part of a double taping that will start at 5:30 p.m. ET (Raw is at 6 p.m. ET), that means WWE is going to show Raw live on Netflix starting at 6 p.m. ET for that week only. As you can see below, it’s listed on the WWE Raw on Netflix schedule.
WWE Monday Night Raw Has Huge Implications Going Into Night Of Champions
The June 15th edition of WWE Monday Night Raw takes place in Baltimore, and there are big stakes in some of the matches.
In a King of the Ring Semifinal match, the AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio takes on the rising star, Oba Femi. Each man won a 4-way match to qualify for the semifinals.
On the women’s side in the Queen of the Ring Semifinals, Iyo Sky faces Raquel Rodriguez of The Judgment Day.
The other King of the Ring Semifinal match is Je’Von Evans facing Jey Uso, while the other Queen of the Ring Semifinal match is Liv Morgan facing Charlotte Flair. Those matches will be on SmackDown on June 19th.
The winners of those Semifinal matches will meet in the King & Queen of the Ring Finals on June 27th at Night of Champions. The King and Queen of the Ring will be rewarded with a WWE or World Title match at SummerSlam.
Here’s what WWE is advertising for Raw so far:
- Oba Femi and Dominik Mysterio collide in King of the Ring Semifinals
- Roman Reigns returns to Raw
- IYO SKY battles Raquel Rodriguez in the Queen of the Ring Tournament Semifinals
- Chad Gable seek redemption against Rusev
- Charlotte Flair takes on Roxanne Perez
On social media, Roxanne Perez warned Charlotte Flair about coming to Raw since Flair facing Perez’s Judgment Day ally Liv Morgan in the Queen of the Ring tournament.
Congrats @MsCharlotteWWE! You’re now in the Judgement Day’s way.. and what a dangerous place to be. I can’t wait to watch Liv wipe the floor with you Friday, but if you show up Monday you might not even make it that far. ☆ https://t.co/PxdfKQrjgx
