WWE star Paige is “sorry” after her title match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 18.

After being away from WWE for almost four years, the Anti-Diva returned home earlier this year at WrestleMania 42, where she was revealed as injured Nikki Bella’s replacement in the fatal four-way match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

She teamed up with Nikki’s twin sister, Brie Bella, to face three other women’s tag teams and defeat them to become the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

At Saturday Night’s Main Event, Brie Bella and Paige defended their tag team titles against Fatal Influence’s Lainey Reed and Fallon Henry. The up-and-coming wrestlers defeated the veteran stars to win the match and become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Following her title loss at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Paige (aka Saraya) took to her X/Twitter account to issue a public apology to her fans.

“Well sh*t… sorry you guys,” she tweeted.

Paige Shares Retirement Plans

Following her grand return to WWE in April 2026, Paige sat down for an interview with Stephanie McMahon on her What’s Your Story podcast. During her conversation with Steph, she revealed that her current run will be her last.

I came in this time with a mindset where I just want to be happy and have fun, because I don’t think I’m going to be wrestling after this run. I want to just enjoy my time that I have here, embrace absolutely everything, just enjoy the journey. That’s all I care about.

But I do want to finally be able to be in the Royal Rumble that I got to not be a part of and do the Elimination Chambers and do all these stipulation matches that were not around.

It was reported that Paige signed a multi-year deal with WWE upon her return, although the exact timeline of her deal is unknown.
