Two Major Titles To Allegedly Change Hands At WWE Clash In Italy

Two major WWE Champions are expected to drop their titles at Clash in Italy.

Cody Rhodes and Gunther have been feuding for a few weeks on SmackDown, heading into Clash in Italy. The American Nightmare is now set to defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against The Ring General tomorrow night at the Inalpi Arena in Turin.

Another champion who will put their title on the line is Becky Lynch. The Man has been involved in a heated rivalry with Sol Ruca on Monday Night RAW. The two women clashed a few days ago at Saturday Night’s Main Event in a non-title match.

The match ended in Ruca’s victory via disqualification after the Women’s Intercontinental Champion pulled referee Jessika Carr into harm’s way when the newcomer attempted to hit Lynch with a Sol Snatcher.

Following the match, The Man launched a vicious attack on her rival. Her actions landed her in trouble with RAW General Manager Adam Pearce, who booked her to defend the title against Ruca at Clash in Italy.

WWE Analyst Sam Roberts Predicts Two Title Changes At Clash In Italy

Speaking on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE analyst Sam Roberts gave his predictions for Clash in Italy. While he speculated that Roman Reigns will retain his World Heavyweight Championship against his cousin, Jacob Fatu, in their Tribal Combat, Roberts revealed that he expects two title changes tomorrow night.

The 42-year-old predicted that Cody Rhodes will lose his Undisputed WWE Championship to Gunther while Sol Ruca will dethrone the Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch.

I think you’ve got two title changes at Clash in [Italy]. Gunther winning the WWE Championship and Sol winning the Intercontinental Championship.

Roberts also said that he believes Rhea Ripley will beat Jade Cargill in their WWE Women’s Championship match and Brock Lesnar will get his revenge on Oba Femi.

And I think Rhea beats Jade and Brock Lesnar beats Oba Femi. That’s where I think things are gonna go for Clash in [Italy]. [1:01:20 onwards]
