Shocking Pitch Made For Triple H’s Replacement In WWE
Triple H is the Chief Content Officer of WWE. As the creative head of the company, he has garnered quite a bit of heat in the past year for his booking decisions.
WWE veteran Vince Russo has repeatedly claimed that Triple H will be forced out of WWE by late 2026 because of the decline in WWE’s creative quality.
Jonathan Coachman also shares the same outlook, suggesting that TKO’s corporate focus on cost-cutting and business efficacy might eventually clash with Triple H’s creative decisions, leading to Hunter getting laid off from his position as the creative head.
Russo and Coachman’s discussion on Triple H on the recent episode of the Coach and Bro show:
Coach: How do I explain this, Vince? You can’t just walk in and throw Triple H out. It’d be a whole mess. So, they have to be strategic, and they have to show that it’s not working with him, am I right?
Russo: Oh, yeah. This ain’t an overnight process. And I would be shocked, though, if there is not a plan in place. I would be shocked because they’re reading the same things we’re reading over the weekend. [58:24 onward]
Russo and Coachman have picked The Rock as a potential replacement, predicting that the TKO Board member might eventually replace Triple H as the Chief Content Officer, either him or his right-hand man, Brian Gewirtz.
Ric Flair Says The Undertaker Is The Best Candidate To Replace Triple H In WWE
Speaking in a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, two-time Hall of Famer Ric Flair shared his thoughts on who he thinks might replace Triple H as the WWE CCO. The Nature Boy picked The Undertaker to take over Hunter’s role as the next WWE head of creative.
Flair made it very clear that he doesn’t think Triple H should be removed from his position as the WWE head of creative. But rather believes that The Undertaker would be a perfect fit to replace him if Hunter steps away because of health issues.
“If they let go Hunter [Triple H] and Taker [The Undertaker] is physically able to do it, he should be the next head of creative… No, no, no. I’m saying if something happens with Hunter, because, you know, he has some very serious health issues. You know that, right? Nothing’s guaranteed.” [H/T Wrestling Observer]
The Undertaker has been getting a lot of praise and recognition as the primary booker and creative visionary for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide.
