Triple H Blasted Following Sol Ruca’s WWE Title Loss

Sol Ruca recently lost her title on RAW.

Sol Ruca has been on a meteoric rise ever since her time in NXT. She captured everybody’s attention due to her athletic prowess in the ring.

During her time in the black and silver brand, Sol was on the receiving end of multiple opportunities that most women would only dream of. Hence, Sol was finally called up to the main roster this year. Immediately upon arriving on RAW, Sol was included in a feud with Becky Lynch. This resulted in Sol winning the Women’s Intercontinental Championship from The Man. While it looked like Sol would enjoy a long title reign in the company, that wasn’t the case. This week on WWE RAW, Sol Ruca defended her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Raquel Rodriguez. Raquel was able to defeat Sol thanks to some help from Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan. Many fans were not happy about this title change since Sol didn’t have the chance to properly establish herself as a champion.

Vince Russo blasted Triple H for Sol Ruca’s title change on RAW

Following the surprising title change, Vince Russo took to social media and went on a rant about how WWE puts a title on someone from NXT and then takes it from them before they get the chance to get over. He suggested that if WWE feels they are not ready to be champion yet, then they should not put the title on them.

“I don’t know how many times @WWE puts a belt on somebody once they come up from @WWENXT only to take it off of them weeks later before they ever have an opportunity for it to help them get over. They repeat this over and over again. All it is is a step backwards for the talent. Makes not sense. If you even have a “feeling” that they might not be ready yet—THEN DON’T PUT IT ON THEM!!! You damage them when you do—then prematurely take it away.”

It remains to be seen what’s next for Sol Ruca after losing the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
