Triple H Attends Vince McMahon’s Birthday Party Without Stephanie McMahon — Shocking Details Revealed
New details have emerged about Triple H attending Vince McMahon’s birthday party.
The former CEO and Chairman of WWE turned 80 years old on August 24 and he celebrated the occasion at the Gotham Hall in New York City with various superstars and higher-ups in attendance.
Alongside Triple H, some other employees of the Stamford promotion included Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, John Cena, The Undertaker, JBL, and Bruce Prichard.
Ex-SmackDown general manager Teddy Long was also among the attendees, who recently discussed details about the gala during an appearance on The Wrestling Time Machine podcast.
Speaking to Mac Davis, he revealed that Shane McMahon attended the party; so did Triple H with his daughters, but Stephanie McMahon was absent.
No, Stephanie was not there. Triple H came and brought the girls, Vince’s grandkids, and they came to see Vince, and when he went on stage, he acknowledged him and brought them to sing happy birthday to him. [4:31 onwards]
Triple H Urged To Become The New Vince McMahon
The Cerebral Assassin has held backstage roles since 2013, becoming a key contributor to WWE’s creative direction.
He was also famously a part of The Authority around the same time, alongside his wife Stephanie McMahon, wherein they used their power to quash anyone who stood up to them.
It was something Vince McMahon did during a majority of the Attitude Era and in the 2000s.
Former WWE employee Jonathan Coachman has urged Triple H to take up a similar role, thus becoming an authority figure.
I truly believe that the WWE needs an authority figure like what the old man was. And Adam Pearce is not that. And I like what’s it? I don’t even know the guy. [Nick]. I like Nick Aldis. But we need somebody that literally has stroke. Somebody that makes the decision. Somebody that says “the buck stops here”.
As much as Triple H puts himself on everything the company does, why wouldn’t he put himself on this? Because it would be a great role for him. I would put him over all the time if he was the Vince McMahon of 2025.
Triple H was heavily featured in Netflix’s docuseries WWE: Unreal.
