Triple H Appearance Announced For WWE SmackDown

Triple H

The WWE’s boss man Triple H is set for an appearance on SmackDown following a WrestleMania 40 Press Event.

It has been announced by WWE that the company’s Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque is going to appear on the February 9th edition of Smackdown.

This episode of Smackdown in Charlotte, NC is taking place one day after the explosive WrestleMania 40 Press Event. Triple H was at the event to hype the crowd. He was also seen later in the event.

When Triple H appeared again, it was when Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes informed the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns that he was going to challenge him for his title at WrestleMania 40. The Rock was also involved in the segment because he thought he would main event WrestleMania 40 with cousin Reigns, but Cody stepped up instead.

Things got personal during the exchange between Cody and Rock/Reigns. That’s because Reigns insulted Cody and his late father Dusty Rhodes, so Cody said that Roman & Rock’s grandfathers would be disappointed in them. That led to Rock slapping Cody, which led to Triple H and others like Raw GM Adam Pearce & Smackdown GM Nick Aldis to break up the fight.

The WWE preview for Smackdown says that Triple H will “address the fallout from the WrestleMania XL Kickoff Press Conference.”

Roman Reigns is not advertised for Smackdown in Charlotte, NC, but Cody Rhodes is pictured on WWE’s website promoting tickets for the event.
