Two Top AEW Stars Nearly Missed TV Taping

Two of the biggest names in AEW nearly missed a TV taping due to being at another event in a different city on the same night.

At the AEW Collision tapings on Saturday night in Lexington, Kentucky, it was a busy night for All Elite Wrestling because they had a taping that went nearly five hours long.

The reason the taping went so long is because, in addition to the live two-hour Collision show on Saturday night, they also had to tape Rampage for next week (airing August 25th) and Ring of Honor for August 24th as well. Normally Ring of Honor tapes on the same night as Collision, but in the case of Rampage they usually do it after Dynamite on Wednesdays.

This coming Wednesday, August 23rd will be another long taping night for AEW since they will do a live Dynamite and tape Collision for next Saturday, August 26th.

It was reported by Fightful Select that Saturday was a very hectic travel night for two of AEW’s biggest stars, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. and her boyfriend Adam Cole. The couple was in Alabama earlier on Saturday at Kulture City’s Kulture Ball in Birmingham, Alabama, where Adam Cole was given Human Highlight Award Person of the Year.

After Cole and Baker were done at the Kulture City event, they flew on a private plane to Lexington, Kentucky. Baker apparently arrived just barely in time to take part in the main event of next week’s Rampage as she teams up with AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida against Saraya & Toni Storm.

Adam Cole also appeared in front of the crowd at the Lexington tapings just to send the fans home happy.

Britt Baker & Adam Cole Have Huge Championship Matches At AEW All In

AEW All In London is one week away on Sunday, August 27th at Wembley Stadium in London, England. At that show, Adam Cole will be wrestling twice. In the main event, Cole will challenge his “best friend” MJF for the AEW World Championship.

In addition to that, Cole & MJF are challenging Aussie Open for the ROH Tag Team Titles on the Zero Hour pre-show before All In begins on pay-per-view.

As for Britt Baker, she’s in a four-way match for the AEW Women’s Title with champion Hikaru Shida, former champion Toni Storm and Saraya, who will have the home field advantage since she’s from England.
