Tony Khan Makes Huge ROH Announcement
AEW boss Tony Khan has made a huge announcement as a major change comes to Ring of Honor.
Tony Khan founded AEW in 2019 and has built that company into a global player in the wrestling world, attracting many of the top talent to be found across the globe.
In addition to that, in March 2022, Khan announced that he had also purchased Ring of Honor, as the ailing company seemed to be limping towards extinction. Since then, many ROH tapings have taken place in conjunction with AEW shows, making for some very long shows for talent and for fans.
Tony Khan Confirms Huge ROH Change
On the 1st of March, Khan made a major change as ROH held its first tapings at the WJCT Studios in Jacksonville, Florida. The good news for fans was that tickets were made available for free with a waitlist in operation after those limited tickets were soon snapped up.
But it seems that if you want to see ROH live, then Jacksonville is the place to be.
During the tapings, Tony Khan appeared in front of the live crowd, where he announced that Jacksonville was the new home of ROH, and the promotion would be returning to the building on March 22nd for another set of tapings.
Ring of Honor will also be part of the Global Wars Canada pay-per-view on March 27th as part of a joint promotion with the Scott D’Amore-owned Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling.
