Tony D’Angelo Explains Recent Actions On WWE NXT

Former NXT North American Champion Tony D’Angelo made his return to the promotion at Deadline in December 2025 and hadn’t spoken to the crowd since his return.

He had been involved in multiple segments since his return, including taking out multiple wrestlers on the black and silver brand. He was even arrested for his actions a few weeks back.

Last week on NXT, he announced that he will address the fans regarding his recent actions and the motive behind his return and he did exactly that tonight.

Darkstate put on notice on WWE NXT

Tony D’Angelo made his way to the ring and stated that he had returned to the promotion for two reasons. He put Darkstate on notice stating that he came back for the group.

They had taken everything from him and he intends to do the same to the Dion Lennox-led group. He didn’t quite reveal his second reason as he stated that fans will know the second reason once he’s done with Darkstate.
