The Young Bucks Make Bold Statement On AEW Dynamite Ahead Of Revolution
AEW kicked off tonight in Sacramento, California, after the promotion made its return to the United States following its trip to Australia last week, where they hosted the Grand Slam television special.
Tonight’s show was off to an excellent start for the Continental Champion, Jon Moxley, as he defeated Mark Davis in a championship eliminator match.
Their match was followed by an impromptu appearance from the current AEW World Tag Team Champions, FTR, who made their way to the ring alongside Stokely Hathaway.
World Tag Team Championships to be defended at AEW Revolution?
The champions were superkicked by the number one contenders for their titles, The Young Bucks, during last week’s episode after they got in the Bucks’ faces.
They addressed the ‘attack’ during their appearance tonight and proceeded to badmouth the Bucks and their family as the challengers snuck up behind them and took them out with another couple of superkicks.
They then proceeded to hit Stokely as well before challenging FTR to a World Tag Team Championship match at the upcoming AEW Revolution pay-per-view next month.
