New Challengers Emerge For AEW World Tag Team Titles On Dynamite
The penultimate match of AEW Dynamite saw a tag team triple threat match take place on the show as three immensely talented tag teams fought it out to become the number one contenders.
The triple threat match had two participants confirmed for the show, as the Young Bucks and The Rascalz were already announced, with the third team being the wild cards of the match.
The final participant was revealed to be former AEW World Tag Team Champions, Private Party, who made their return to the promotion after more than a year out.
The Young Bucks to challenge for the AEW Tag Team Titles
Following their return, Private Party were thrown into action from the get-go, and the three teams wrestled a fast-paced, high-flying match that had the crowd on their feet throughout.
It seemed like the match might turn out in anyone’s favor, but ultimately went to the Young Bucks, who secured the win with a BTE Trigger and got the pin on The Rascalz.
Their win tonight set them on a collision course with the current World Tag Team Champions, FTR, who came out right after their win. They proceeded to mock the Bucks before eating a superkick from the number one contenders to end the segment.
