The Vanity Project Survive Intense WWE Title Defense On NXT

The main event of WWE NXT tonight featured a huge match to end the show as the second NXT title was on the line in the final match of the night. The show featured two amazing title matches tonight, with the first one for the women’s division.

The NXT Women’s North American Title was on the line tonight as Tatum Paxley took on Lizzy Rain, and after a lot of back-and-forth with the newcomer, Paxley was able to retain her championship.

With one championship match already in the history books, The Vanity Project defended their NXT Tag Team Titles in the main event of the show tonight as they took on DarkState.

DarkState failed to capture the NXT Tag Team Championships

Saquan Shugars and Dion Lennox represented DarkState in the tag team match, and they challenged Ricky Smokes and Brad Baylor for the championships.

They jumped the champions during their entrance to get a small advantage in the match. The challengers continued to dominate the match against the champions and looked like leaving as winners on multiple occasions.

Saquan got distracted by Smokes and took him out of the ring before going to attack Baylor, who was lying on the ring. However, just as he reached Baylor, he was caught in an inside cradle pin for the three-count and lost the match.
