Chelsea Green has a fan in WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker.

Despite being injured, the 34-year-old has made appearances in backstage segments, building a potential storyline for herself to be featured in.

Green’s injury occurred during her 3-way Elimination Chamber qualifying match against Tiffany Stratton and Lash Legend on the February 6 episode of SmackDown.

She was subsequently replaced by La Hiedra in her AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship match on the Lucha Libre promotion, causing her to lose the title after La Hiedra and Ethan Page lost to Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana.

WWE also courted a controversy involving Chelsea Green when producer Michael Hayes referred to her as someone who uplifts talent instead of beating them during a segment on Netflix’s Season 2 of WWE: Unreal.

His comments received backlash from wrestling fans, who accused him of overlooking a talent that was entertaining and hardworking, and championship material.

The Undertaker Criticizes WWE’s Booking Of Chelsea Green

Chelsea Green reacted to Michael Hayes’ comments about her on WWE: Unreal, calling it disappointing.

Since then, she has received overwhelming support from the wrestling fraternity, with even other producers advocating for her as a future championship contender.

During a recent episode of The Undertaker’s Six Feet Under podcast, Hayes defended the comments he made on the Netflix docuseries.

In response, The Phenom gave his two cents, calling the company out for not utilizing Green to her full potential.

I’ll put my two cents in, I think she’s underutilized. She, without a doubt, with just a hair more mean streak, she can be a top top player. She has that “it.” She has the “it” factor. There is a lot of great things coming for that young lady. I’m a big fan of hers. [H/T: Fightful]
