WWE Producer Backs Chelsea Green Against Michael Hayes; She Responds
WWE Hall of Famer Michael Hayes recently made a controversial statement about Chelsea Green.
During an episode of WWE Unreal season 2, Hayes said that while Chelsea Green is “entertaining,” her role in WWE is limited to that of an enhancement talent. He added that she is not meant to be a top star and will never be a main-event talent like Tiffany Stratton or Charlotte Flair.
Hayes’ comments have drawn significant fan backlash, as well as criticism from some industry figures who believe Green is undervalued.
That said, WWE producer Hurricane Helms recently took to his X account to show his support for Chelsea Green. Showing his faith in Green, he tweeted that she will become a world champion in WWE. Green then reacted to Helms’ tweet with a crying GIF:

Chelsea Green Reacts To Controversial WWE Unreal Remarks
Chelsea Green herself responded to the controversial WWE Unreal remarks in a recent interview.
She stated that she may not be “the chosen one” in WWE. But added that, despite not being unique or special, she has become a successful WWE superstar with the help of her sheer determination and never-giving-up attitude.
“There’s a lot of chosen ones in wrestling, you see that happen, the machine has scooped you up and thrust you to the top, it’s amazing and some unbelievable stars come from it. But for me, my story is so different and relatable, and I didn’t get everything handed to me, I was told no so many times.
There were a lot of people that told me there was nothing unique about me, and I figured out my niche and I think that’s really special and that’s what fans kind of attach to, like she is one of us.
When I go home, and I take my make-up off and I blend in at publics when I’m shopping for my groceries, I am just a normal girl. There isn’t necessarily anything special about me, but that’s what makes me special, is the relatability I think.”
