Why The Rock Is Expected To Wrestle at WWE WrestleMania 43

The Rock on WWE SmackDown

The Rock’s last appearance in WWE was at Elimination Chamber when Cena turned heel to join him. But his last match was even way before this.

The last time The Final Boss stepped inside the squared circle was on WWE WrestleMania XL, Saturday, February 6, 2024, at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he teamed up with Roman Reigns to take on the team of Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes.

Fans have been eagerly waiting for The Great One to step in the ring again, but so far, they have been disappointed. The WWE Universe was hopeful he’d be present at Survivor Series this year, but PWInsider has dashed their hopes in a new report.

Speaking on Keepin’ It 100 OFFICIAL, veteran Konnan predicted The Rock might return to WWE at the Royal Rumble 2026 and even compete at the event.

I think Rock will wrestle again, and it’ll probably be in Saudi Arabia. (From 3:17)

Saudi Arabia Will Pay The Rock a Lot of Money To Wrestle at WrestleMania 43

Konnan also stated that there is a very high chance The Rock will also perform at WrestleMania 43. Both events are scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia, and Konnan thinks Saudi Arabia will pay The Brahma Bulla a tremendous amount of money to ensure that a huge superstar like The Rock wrestles in their country.

They would probably give him more money than he’s ever made in one day. Movies take months to make. He could probably get the same as he’s making from a movie, and he could pack that muscle back on. It’s not that hard. (From 1:46 to 1:57)

Currently, Rock is busy with his Hollywood projects. He is set to portray MMA legend Mark Kerr in the biopic “The Smashing Machine”. He will also be featured in a Martin Scorsese untitled Hawaiian mafia drama. To adapt to these roles, he underwent drastic weight loss, which raised concerns among the WWE Universe.

He addressed these concerns in an interview with SportsBible, stating that he is fine and fans need not worry about him. His leaner look also sparked discussion about his future in wrestling, with some speculating that his slimmer physique might impact possible WWE comebacks.
