The Rock Teases More Big Matches For Him In WWE

The Rock

The Rock has hinted that further WWE bouts could be in his future.

‘The Final Boss’ teamed with Roman Reigns on Night One of WrestleMania 40 to defeat Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins and ‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes in an epic main event that had huge implications on the highly anticipated Night Two Undisputed WWE Universal Championship bout between Reigns and challenger Rhodes.

It was a first WWE bout for The Rock since battling Wyatt Family member Erick Rowan in an impromptu six-second bout at WrestleMania 32 in Arlington, Texas on 3rd April 2016.

Prior to that lightning fast outing, ‘The People’s Champion’ had not laced up his boots to compete since falling to defeat against John Cena three years earlier in the main event of WrestleMania 29.

The most recent return of the former WWE Champion has met with rave critical reviews and it would seem that we may not have seen the last of the 51 year-old in the ring just yet.

Speaking during the WrestleMania XL Saturday Post-Show Press Conference, ‘The Great One’ was asked if he would step foot into the squared circle again in the future and refused to rule out the possibility:

“There might be. I can’t elaborate that much on that, but there might be. I love what I do. I love our business. I was born into our business. We’ll see.”

The Rock Promises Surprises At WrestleMania

The victory on Night One of WrestleMania 40 for The Rock and Roman Reigns ensured that ‘The Tribal Chief’ would defend his title against Cody Rhodes on Night Two in Philadelphia in a bout fought under ‘Bloodline Rules’.

It promises to be a chaotic main event, with The Rock confirming during the press conference that surprises were guaranteed.
