The Rock Promises Surprises For Bloodline Rules At WrestleMania

The Rock makes his entrance at WWE WrestleMania 40

The Rock has guaranteed surprises during the main event of WrestleMania XL Night Two.

‘The Tribal Chief’ is set to defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against ‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes in a return bout from last year’s WrestleMania that saw Reigns surprisingly retain his title.

The long-awaited rematch on Night Two at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field will take place under ‘Bloodline Rules’ after Reigns joined forces with The Rock to defeat Rhodes and Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins in a huge tag-team main event of Night One of WrestleMania XL to hand them the opportunity to name their stipulation.

The introduction of ‘Bloodline Rules’ has left fans expecting a chaotic main event and with rumours in recent weeks of WrestleMania appearances for the likes of John Cena and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, many are hoping for some surprise faces to show up in Philadelphia.

Speaking during the WrestleMania XL Saturday Post-Show Press Conference, ‘The Great One’ was asked if fans could expect surprises during the main event of Night Two and he was quick to answer in the affirmative:

“You can. Absolutely!”

When pressed for details on potential surprises, The Rock remained tight lipped, insisting he wanted to keep any surprises secret from challenger Cody Rhodes:

“Final Boss can’t tell you that. I can’t tell anybody that. I have keep everyone guessing, including Cody Rhodes. That’s important. You can sure expect the unexpected and a lot of surprises.”

The Rock Praised By Top Star For WrestleMania Performance

The Rock’s victorious return to in-ring action during Night One of WWE’s top Premium Live Event has received critical acclaim, with the ‘Final Boss’ receiving the highest of praise from an unlikely source following the event.

Former rival CM Punk, who dropped the WWE Championship to The Rock at Royal Rumble 2013, was asked for his views at the conclusion of the event and heaped praise upon the 51 year-old for his in-ring performance.
