The Pat McAfee Show is a go-to source for sports fans in North America.

On Wednesday, the host of the show shared a video on his X account, which showed his set being thrashed by an invader.

Speaking to the audience, McAfee revealed Cody Rhodes as the perpetrator. The two men are involved in a heated feud in WWE after McAfee aligned himself with Randy Orton on SmackDown a couple of weeks ago.

The 38-year-old then claimed that he received a call on Tuesday evening from one of his employees, who informed him that he had some bad news.

He further stated that the cleaner on his set let Rhodes in before getting back to mopping.

Pat McAfee then asked for the video to be played while providing a “play-by-play” commentary, if you will.

In the video, the cleaner can be seen mopping the floor when he hears a knock. He opens the door and welcomes Cody Rhodes inside.

The video then shows Cody walking to the main set, where a picture of Orton with McAfee sits front and center from last week’s SmackDown.

After looking around, Rhodes grabs a baseball bat and smashes the picture beyond recognition. He then grabs his Undisputed WWE Championship, which McAfee and Orton stole, along with a laptop.

While walking out, he smashes the laptop on the ground and thanks the cleaner, with McAfee now speculating if the two were in cahoots.

Cody Rhodes Calls Pat McAfee Touching The WWE Championship “Offensive”

Cody Rhodes was not happy with the events that transpired on last week’s taping of the blue brand.

During his segment, Pat McAfee again boasted about allying with Randy Orton, while also targeting WWE’s WrestleMania 42 ticket sales, again, and CM Punk.

Rhodes then interrupted him and told him that he did not belong inside a wrestling ring. McAfee, meanwhile, claimed that he was born to do this.

McAfee then goaded The American Nightmare to hit him, something general manager Nick Aldis earlier said was disallowed.

As Rhodes charged toward the ring, Randy Orton appeared on the titantron, which showed that he had attacked Rhodes’ friend and Grammy Award-winning artist, Jelly Roll.

Both Randy Orton and Pat McAfee then attacked Cody Rhodes before leaving the building with his Undisputed WWE Championship.

While promotion his match against Orton at WrestleMania 42 on The Rich Eissen Show, Rhodes claimed that the visual of McAfee holding his title was offensive.

Yeah. Pat… the most offensive image probably in wrestling history. Uh and there’s been a few along the way and and this is not a knock on any of these. The gobbledy gooker when they did that. Uh David Arquette winning the world championship always upset fans.

I think the most offensive image in wrestling history is probably Pat McAfee holding up the WWE Championship while standing next to Randy Orton, the actual guy, yes, that I’m wrestling at WrestleMania. And it’s even worse because he’s over there in the Thunderdome and it’s just sitting there. The richest prize in our game… could I get another one? Sure. [H/T: Ringside News]
