Stephanie Vaquer has been absent from WWE for over a month now due to a shoulder injury. Her last match came at WrestleMania 42, where she lost her Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan in under seven minutes.

It was reported that she was already banged up heading into Mania, which is why WWE kept the duration of her title match with The Miracle Kid short.

On the April 27 episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE staged a backstage assault on her, where she was seen getting attacked by Liv Morgan’s Judgment Day teammates, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. She was then sidelined indefinitely from WWE television and sent on a hiatus for recovery.

Michael Cole later revealed that she had suffered a second-degree AC sprain, which wrestling insiders confirmed to be a legitimate injury.

In mid-May, PWInsider revealed that WWE was making internal pitches to bring her back as early as the May 18 episode of Raw or during the Clash in Italy weekend. However, those plans were ultimately scrapped.

Stephanie Vaquer Will Not Return At Clash In Italy Or On The Raw After

PWInsider recently provided another update on Stephanie Vaquer’s return, disclosing that she did not travel to Italy for the European tour dates. This means she won’t make her WWE return at the Clash in Italy PLE on Sunday or on the Raw episode on Monday.

As we noted last week in the Elite section, there were some in the company who expected Stephanie Vaquer back in the storyline mix by this weekend. We were told this morning that there were pitches for her for Monday’s Raw, but as of today, she was not expected to travel to Italy.

It is rumored that Stephanie Vaquer will go on a revenge storyline against Liv Morgan following her return to action. There is a high chance she might challenge the current Women’s World Champion for a title rematch.
