Sonya Deville Makes Appearance On NXT, Attacks Alba Fyre

Sonya Deville

On Tuesday’s NXT, WWE Superstar Sonya Deville, who is currently assigned to the Smackdown brand on the main roster, surprised fans by showing up and launching an attack on Alba Fyre.

After getting a win over Jacy Jayne, Fyre was walking backstage when a hooded individual hopped out of the crowd and pounced on her. When they took off the hood, it was revealed to be Sonya Deville, who would continue to attack Fyre further. Eventually, Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne would join in on the attack as well. To close out their attack, they would send Fyre through the commentary table.

Later on the show, Sonya Deville spoke to McKenzie Mitchell backstage, saying that even though she and Mandy Rose have had heat in the past, she still considers Rose a friend, and vice versa. Deville went on to say that she has the back of Toxic Attraction, and if Fyre wants a match next week on NXT against her, she’ll get it, which Fyre accepted.

Last week on NXT, Fyre attacked Toxic Attraction, kidnapping Mandy Rose in the process. On Tuesday, Fyre would give more insight on her “joyride” with Rose, saying that it eventually forced her way into a match for the NXT Women’s Championship at Halloween Havoc, which is scheduled for October 22.

A regular on WWE Smackdown, Deville’s last in-ring action was this past Friday where she was paired with Xia Li in a loss against Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzi.
