Sean Waltman On Enjoying Less “Combative” Wrestling Schedule

Sean Waltman AKA X-Pac

Sean Waltman has discussed whether he’d ever like to make a full-time return to WWE, and the schedule he currently works through.

After such a successful career, it wouldn’t be surprising if Sean ‘X-Pac’ Waltman followed the same path as a number of his peers, taking up a role either producing or coaching for one of the top countries in the world.

However, instead of this he has decided that he would like a more laid-back lifestyle, and one which comes with a lot less stress than it would if he was more involved with the wrestling business.

In a discussion on a Q&A portion of AdFreeShows’ X-Pac Live, Sean Waltman gave an insight in to his current schedule and what he likes about it compared to what he could be doing.

I like to just come in once in a while, like we’re gonna be doing on October 10th at the Barclay’s Center, little appearances like that. I go and do the Comic-Con and other appearances…It’s very stress-free how my life is right now.

Sometimes it [backstage in WWE] can get very combative. I just assume to stay slightly removed from all that. I don’t think they really need me to be honest with myself. Not that I don’t have anything to offer…I wouldn’t mind doing something that wouldn’t require a huge commitment.

Sean Waltman will be returning to WWE for an appearance as part of the 25th Anniversary D-Generation X celebrations on Monday Night Raw in October. He recently discussed what the chances are of Billy Gunn making a return for the group, despite being under contract to AEW.
