Savio Vega Rushed To Hospital

Savio Vega

Former WWE Superstar Savio Vega was rushed to hospital over the weekend, undergoing a range of tests.

Savio Vega competed in WWE for five years between 1994 and 1999. Vega began his career in the company as the masked Kwang before re-emerging as the ‘childhood friend’ of Razor Ramon. Savio Vega reached the final of the 1995 King of the Ring tournament where he lost to the giant Mabel.

Vega was one of the first WWE rivals of The Ringmaster – the man who came to be known as Stone Cold Steve Austin. The two men famously battled in a Caribbean Strap match at In Your House 8 with Vega picking up the win meaning that Austin’s manager at the time, Ted DiBiase, had to leave WWE.

The Puerto Rican legend later joined the Nation of Domination before leading his own faction, Los Boricuas as gang warfare took over WWE in the Attitude Era.

IWA Puerto Rico, the company that Vega has long been associated with took to social media to announce that the star had been rushed to hospital on the 2oth of August.

Yesterday, Saturday, Savio Vega had to be transferred to a hospital in an emergency. He is still under treatment.

You need to rest to recover as soon as possible.

He has his phone at hand to communicate only with his relatives. We request space. Thanks.
