Sami Zayn Set To Appear On Broken Skull Sessions

Sami Zayn & Steve Austin

It has been announced that Sami Zayn will be the guest on the next episode of the Broken Skull Sessions.

The episode is due to be broadcast on Friday July 22d, and will be available on Peacock in the United States and on the WWE Network everywhere else.

The most recent edition of the show featured WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett. The former World Champion had recently returned to WWE becoming the new Senior Vice President of Live Events. On the July 15th episode of SmackDown it was announced that Jarrett will also be appearing at SummerSlam where he will serve as the special guest referee for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Title match between The Usos and The Street Profits.

Previous episodes of the Broken Skull Sessions have featured Mick Foley, The Undertaker, Bret Hart, Chris Jericho and Becky Lynch among others.

Sami Zayn is currently enjoying one of the most highly acclaimed runs of his entire WWE career. Coming off the back of his widely praised match at WrestleMania 38 with Johnny Knoxville, Zayn has aligned himself with The Bloodline. Not that Roman Reigns or The Usos have really had much choice.

On the most recent episode of SmackDown the “Honorary Uce” appeared on commentary as Jimmy Uso took on Angelo Dawkins. After a controversial finish to the contest, Zayn made his pitch to be the special guest referee for the title match at SummerSlam, but Adam Pearce had other ideas, announcing that Jarrett would be filing the role.
