Following Marc Mero’s interview with Chris Van Vliet, the subject of Sable’s Hall of Fame induction has gained traction.

The former Women’s Champion has yet to be inducted into the HOF despite being one of the major talents in the company during the Attitude Era.

On many days, her name was often used in the same breath as ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, The Rock, and The Undertaker.

Sable debuted in WWE as a valet for Hunter Hearst Helmsley. She was rescued by Marc Mero, her real-life husband at the time, at WrestleMania XII while being a valet for Hunter Hearst Helmsley. It was also Mero’s first appearance in the company.

She soon gained popularity among the fans for some of her risque TV segments, even ultimately picking up a feud with Mero.

In June 1999, she quit the promotion and filed a $110 million lawsuit, in which she stated sexual harassment and unsafe working conditions as the reasons.

The issue was settled out of court.

WWE Legend Wishes For Sable To Be In Hall Of Fame

WWE has announced several names for its Hall of Fame Class of 2026. However, Sable’s name does not appear in it.

During his appearance on Chris Van Vliet’s Insight, Marc Mero admitted that his ex-wife deserved a place in the HOF.

The former female superstar is currently married to Brock Lesnar.

While speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross too claimed that she should be an inductee, although it may be late for this year’s ceremony.

I really don’t know how to answer that. It’s a Vince (McMahon) decision at the end of the day and a Brock Lesnar decision at the end of the day. So, we’ll see how that takes us. The time is running out for her to be put into the Hall of Fame, in my opinion.

She certainly deserved it, and she caused a stir. She made the company a lot of money, she became a star, a big star. For me, she’s not in the Hall of Fame and that’s wrong. She should be, and hopefully that’ll come to pass sooner than later. [H/T: WrestlingNews.co]
