WWE chooses its Hall of Fame inductees at its own discretion.

Likewise, the company’s higher-ups sometimes choose to leave out deserving names due to past scars or other controversies.

After years of being at loggerheads with The Ultimate Warrior, he was inducted into the class of 2014. Unless there is a similar change of heart, it is unlikely that Sable will ever wear the HOF ring.

Torrie Wilson even revealed that she was stopped from referencing Sable during her Hall of Fame speech in 2019.

Sable was a massive superstar during the Attitude Era, making her debut at WrestleMania XII.

She gained an immense fan following not just because of her beauty, but also her in-ring prowess, which was limited. However, her multiple power slams on Marc Mero earned her cheers like no female stars received at the time.

At the peak of her popularity, Sable decided to quit WWE in June 1999. She also sued the company for $110 million, citing sexual harassment and unsafe working conditions.

In August of that year, both parties reached an out-of-court settlement. Sable would return to the company in 2003, but without her then-husband, Marc Mero.

Mero, on the other hand, has campaigned for her to be included in the Hall of Fame.

Former Champion Urges WWE To Include Sable In The Hall Of Fame

Despite separating from Sable years ago, Marc Mero has claimed that she deserves a place in WWE’s Hall of Fame.

Speaking on Chris Van Vliet’s Insight podcast, the 65-year-old was asked about writing in his book that Sable should be in the company’s HOF.

Oh, absolutely. The woman’s division, they didn’t really have a woman’s division so much back then at all. But she brought eyes to the channels. The ratings and everything were very high because of her.

Sable is currently married to Brock Lesnar, and like her husband, prefers to be away from the public eye. Marc Mero married for a third time in December 2025.
