Rumour Killer Regarding Adam Pearce’s WWE Future

Adam Pearce WWE Raw

Adam Pearce is currently feuding with Paul Heyman and The Vision.

During a recent episode of Monday Night Raw, Bron Breakker interfered in a tag team match and attacked Dragon Lee and Penta. An infuriated Adam Pearce confronted Breakker and attempted to physically restrain him. In retaliation, Breakker shoved the RAW General Manager into the turnbuckle and threatened him.

Following the incident, Pearce indefinitely suspended Bron Breakker for putting his hands on an official and ignoring a previous warning to stay away. Paul Heyman has argued that it was actually Adam Pearce who made the first physical contact by putting his hands on a talent, which could cost Pearce his own authority.

This angle has led the fans to believe that Pearce might return to in-ring competition to settle his beef with Heyman and his client. However, Dave Meltzer says otherwise.

Adam Pearce Is Not Returning To The Ring

Meltzer released a report on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter on January 23, 2026, saying that it is highly unlikely that Pearce will return to in-ring action. He added that despite the growing friction between Pearce and Heyman, there are no immediate plans in place for Pearce to engage in any wrestling match.

“There has been speculation coming off the Pearce segments regarding him wrestling. Pearce was a good independent wrestler but stopped wrestling a long time ago and there are no plans right now for him to wrestle,” Meltzer wrote.

Pearce was a popular wrestler on the independent circuit. He retired from in-ring competition in 2014, although he returned to the ring in WWE in 2021, where he fought two matches: one on Raw (WWE RAW Tag Team Title match) and one on SmackDown (WWE Universal Title #1 Contendership Gauntlet match).
