Ronda Rousey made her AEW debut at Revolution 2026 on March 15.

She showed up at the event after Timeless Toni Storm defeated Marina Shafir in a singles match. She popped out of the crowd and entered the ring to confront Storm.

This distraction allowed Shafir to land a cheap shot on Storm. During the broadcast, it was also acknowledged that Rousey was an associate of Death Riders’ John Moxley’s stable, and she made an appearance because others were banned from ringside.

Following her appearance, Tony Khan said in the post-show that he would very much like Ronda Rousey to join his roster and that she is always welcome in his company. This led fans to wonder if Rousey has signed a full-time contract with the promotion.

Ronda Rousey Hasn’t Signed A Contract With Tony Khan’s AEW

Fightful Select recently shed some light on the matter, revealing that Rousey is not officially #AllElite as of now, and the appearance was likely a one-off or short-term arrangement. AEW considers Rousey a special attraction rather than a full-time roster member.

It was noted that her surprise appearance happened because of her good relationship with Tony Khan and being in the neighborhood. The report also added that Rousey’s appearance received the kind of fan reaction that AEW desired, something even Rousey hadn’t anticipated.

The report also discussed that Rousey’s shocking appearance at Revolution did not surprise WWE and TKO, hinting that they were already expecting it to happen.

Following her pro wrestling return, Ronda Rousey is also set to make her return to the MMA world. She is scheduled to face Gina Carano in a highly anticipated super fight on May 16, 2026. The bout will stream live on Netflix.
