Ronda Rousey recently made her return to pro wrestling with an AEW debut.

After a brief stint with WWE, Rousey had stepped away from pro wrestling, stating that she was done with the business. She shifted her full attention to being a full-time mom and spending more time with her family.

However, on March 15, Rousey shocked the wrestling world by making a surprise appearance at AEW Revolution 2026. During the event, she confronted Toni Storm after Storm defeated her close friend Marina Shafir in a singles match.

Emerging from the crowd wearing a Rowdy Piper jacket, Rousey had a face-off with Storm, creating chaos in the ring, which allowed Shafir to blindside Storm with a cheap shot. Rousey and Shafir then left the arena, and commentary acknowledged Rousey as an associate of Jon Moxley’s Death Riders faction.

Following her AEW debut, AEW President Tony Khan stated during the Revolution post-show that he would love to have her on the roster and that she is always welcome in the company.

Booker T Predicts Very Short Stint For Ronda Rousey In AEW

Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, WWE legend Booker T stated that Ronda Rousey showed up at AEW for the money and doesn’t expect her to stay with AEW for long.

“I don’t see Ronda Rousey being around AEW very long. It might be a year, it might be six months. There’s not a whole lot for Ronda Rousey to do in AEW other than win the belt.”

Rousey is also set to make her MMA return against Gina Carano in a highly anticipated fight on May 16, 2026, streaming live on Netflix.
